Definition of terms

Since 27.11.2019, all authorities in Thuringia have been obliged to accept and process electronic invoices (e-invoices). E-invoices are those that are "issued, transmitted and received in a structured electronic format" and "the format enables the automatic and electronic processing of the invoice" in accordance with Section 14 ThürEGovG.

Electronic invoice transmission to the ZVL

The ZVL only accepts electronic invoices in XRechnung format via the federal government's central invoice receipt portal.

It is necessary to register once and free of charge on the central invoice receipt portal. There you can either enter the invoice data directly or upload invoices that have already been created in XRechnung format. The data will then be transmitted to the ZVL if you enter our routing ID 16502400-0001-42. The e-invoices are then deemed to have been submitted and delivered.
