General ruling - lifting of the Jena and SHK restricted areas as of 24.04.2021
With effect from April 24, 2021, the Jena-Saale-Holzland Veterinary and Food Monitoring Office is lifting the avian influenza restricted area and incorporating it into the established observation area. After several cases of avian influenza were detected in Jena and the Saale-Holzland district in March, the protective measures can now be relaxed. However, the measures to contain avian influenza and the obligation to keep birds in stables remain in place.
